VIReC cyber seminars provide an opportunity for researchers to learn about new and existing databases and clinical information systems, as well as methods for using databases and information systems to aid their research. Cyber seminars are available as live web conferences and as on-demand archived presentations, available 24/7 as your schedule allows.
In March 2006, VIReC, with assistance from the Center
for Information Dissemination and Education Resources
(CIDER), launched two cyber seminar series:
Clinical Informatics Cyber Seminar Series
These monthly seminars present
expert discussion of key issues in clinical informatics
for VA researchers. Join experts from the VA Information
Resource Center (VIReC) and guest lecturers for
these lively and informative presentations.
VA Databases and Methods Cyber Seminar Series
This series of monthly
seminars assist VA researchers in accessing and
using VA databases for research. Presenters are faculty
from the VA Information Resource Center and guest lecturers.
